I had an excellent experience with Dr. Nathan Panttaja at Kings Eye Center in Hanford. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. The office is set up very nicely & I was greeted right away. While waiting to see the Doctor they had a TV with very interesting information about the different eye problems & what steps would be taken to correct the issues. Everyone there was very welcoming, helpful & kind. The staff preformed check ups to prepare you to see the doctor. They explained what they were doing to help you feel comfortable & not be scared. When Dr.Panttaja came In the room He was very pleasant introduced himself & explained what he would be doing to give me a complete examination. This was the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had. I was very pleased he made me feel he was really caring about my eye health. At the end he showed me pictures & explained what he found was going on with my eyes answered all my questioned & gave me recommendations as to what would come next to correct my eye issues. During a routine initial visit to Kings Eye Center following a specialty referral from my PCM, Dr. Ronald Keck discovered I had an emergent medical condition requiring immediate medical examination and intervention. He, Dr. Panttaja, and Amber went above and beyond their duties to make sure all necessary calls and documentations were completed to ensure I was immediately transported to the nearest E.R. Following medical exam and diagnostic studies, I was further transported to CRMC Fresno where their Neurosurgical Team confirmed Dr. Keck's initial concerns and where I am currently scheduled for Neurosurgery. Dr. Keck and Dr. Panttaja went as far as giving me their calling cards should I need further assistance. He also requested feedback on my condition once I am able to. My Husband and I Love Dr. Keck. He is such a Caring Down to Earth Doctor. My Husband had an eye infection a couple of years ago and Dr. keck gave him his Cell Phone number and said if you have any Problems call me I'm going on Vacation but you can call me anytime. So a couple of days went by and Dr. Keck called him to see how his eyes were doing. We've never had a Doctor do that before! My medical dr wanted my eye checked by an eye specialist because he wasn't sure what the problem was with my left eye was swelling closed and becoming redder, and painful. I called King's Eye Center Thurs afternoon and was given an appt the next morning. Had to take my 6 yr daughter in due to her probably needing glasses. I must say the office is very nice and welcoming. They had a kids waiting area as well. They offer their patients hot coco and tea. Yes, they even have coffee. My daughter is a struggle with health care visits, but she really enjoyed her visit and was chatting nonstop with her Dr. Keck.
