My optometrist referred me here when I asked her about whether I was a candidate for LASIK or not and everyone here was so so kind and informative and made me feel very comfortable with going through ICL because I was not a good candidate for LASIK. I had never heard of ICL before but they explained it to me and answered all the questions my husband and I had! Jasmine was the main person I spoke to at the clinic, she walked me through the entire process and it honestly felt like I was talking to an actual friend, not just a random person so I really really appreciated that and you can tell she really does care about each patient and goes above and beyond with everything! Dr.Lee was at my consultation and performed my surgery and she is super nice and professional and I felt very safe and comfortable the entire time I was at the clinic and surgery center. Such a wonderful and positive experience and my surgery was a success as well! It’s only day one post op and I can already see so much clearer and better it’s as if I’m wearing my soft contact lenses without any of the discomfort that comes with it! I have been a client of KE Eye Center for 10 years and have had great success with every eye surgery that was needed. Their equipment is state of the art and their surgeons are the best as well as they're attendings. I see better now after my cateract surgery than I did before it. I had cataract surgery and got ReSTOR multifocal intraocular lenses. I can (mostly) see without eyeglasses! Except for small print, I don’t need to wear eyeglasses anymore. I am 60 years old so I need to use readers for smaller print about 12 pt font but can see a little larger print unaided. This has been a fantastic thing for me. I was totally eyeglass dependent at every distance for many years. I worried about what I would do if my eyeglasses were damaged, especially away from home. I can see about 20/20 now. I laugh when I think about how I was initially concerned about the cost. It is worth the money many times over. If money is an issue, they have 24 month zero financing. I live near the Plano office and I just love everyone there. They handle a lot of patients and they do it really well in a friendly, efficient manner. Dr. Evangelista, M.D., with great clarity explained the then upcoming cataract surgery, the nature of cataracts, the follow-up, etc., and answered all questions. Very genial and all went without a hitch during/after the surgery. 1-week follow-up with Dr. Reuter, O.D., was a breeze. Bottom line, my left eye’s vision no longer appears clouded by Vaseline. I was really impressed with the quality of the staff at the Plano office and also with the surgical team led by Dr. Evangelista. I had some anxiety while beginning the procedure and was led through this by the staff in a very reassuring and comforting way. My eyesight has been remarkable since the surgery and I have been able to resume most of the outdoor sports that I enjoy because of the vision that I have now. For instance, when I would snow ski with my glasses (inside my goggles), many times they would fog up right in the middle of a mogul field---not a great thing to happen at that moment. I had a cataract removed in November and it went very smoothly. Unfortunately I have had some problems after the surgery with the eye. Dr. Varani is now my Dr. and she is amazing!!! KE Eye Center was extremely easy when I had my lasik in 2016. I actually won the lasik in a drawing at an even. Dr. Evangelista performed my lasik and walked me through each step. I went in for LASIK on Thursday with Dr. Ramsey. She and her assistant had excellent bedside manner. She first explained the procedure very thoroughly and prepared me on what to expect. She also talked to me during the surgery, letting me know when my vision was going to blur and when to expect pressure, etc. It helped to ease my nerves and was overall a pleasant experience. Dr. Ramsey was very polite, knowledgeable, and I was, in no way, treated like a "toddle." What a "Class Act!" Not only was everyone SO very polite, offering beverages and cheery conversation, but the Technicians and Doctor were so professional and helpful. (Not to mention all of the cute turquise-blue matching blouses and beautifully decorated lobby.) And, if you think that this is some kind of "promo," you are mistaken. I came in with a terrible eye infection, afraid I was going to lose my vision entirely, so I was not expecting to have a great time. I was pleasantly surprised! Good job!
