I went in to try and get an appointment due to a just emerged eye problem. Instead Dr. Avalone saw me about 30 minutes after I walked in. He examined my eyes and explained what the problem was and reassured me it was nothing to be unduly concerned about. Very good service and communication. Today I saw Dr. Ware who was recently added to Dr. Avallone's practice though I had seen him here once before this summer when he was covering for Dr. Avallone's patients while he was out of the office. Dr. Ware is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He is also a great communicator taking great care in explaining things so that you understand what it is you are dealing wirh and answers your questions making sure before you leave your appt you know what to expect moving forward. His assistant Tonya was also very professional, friendly and kind as she did my eye exam via eye charts and explained each step as she performed other eye tests. The receptionist who checked me in and made my follow-up appt on my way out was very professional and friendly. I have a longstanding eye issue that I told Dr. Avallone about, but that he also found on his own, and in an ongoing way looks for the best way to treat. He does what is necessary and advises against doing what is unnecessary. My syndrome is not curable, but there are ways to live with it, and he has helped a lot.
