Dr. Nathe performed total knee and total hip replacement surgery for me over a period of less than two years. Both surgeries were extremely successful. I am virtually pain free and have made what I consider a complete recovery…. My handicap is back to the same place I was prior to my issues and I have regained all of my distance off the tee. Doesn’t get any better than that! He is knowledgeable, obviously quite proficient, and very professional, all with a fantastic sense of humor. I have recommended him to all of my aging buddies. Dr. Ryan Nathe did my hip replacement, I am amazed. He’s like a celebrity to me, especially after meeting so called Celebrities surgeons in Beverly Hills. He’s the real celebrity. I retired last year knowing I needed to get this done and the type of work I was doing as a caregiver was no longer possible. My son flew here from BH California to meet Dr. Nathe to talk about the surgery, we both walked away with a good feeling about him however, I really didn’t have help here with recovery as my son lives in Beverly Hills and so I moved there to check out surgeons. I met three of them. None of them had the personality of Dr. Nathe, my son & I both agreed I needed to come back home to have Dr. Ryan do my surgery, he was the one I wanted. I had my surgery and I’m like a new person. All that pain I endured 3 years prior to surgery was gone the day after surgery, utterly amazing. He’s very personable and listens to his patients concerns and easy to talk to. I would encourage people not wait 3 years for a new hip or knee, it’s non painful and it’s a quick recovery. I ruptured both quad tendons from slipping on ice and landing on both kneecaps. I saw Dr. Nathe on 04/06/2022 for an exam and evaluation. Before Dr. Nathe even looked at the x-rays he told me that my quad tendons were ruptured and that I needed surgery. I had my surgery on the following Monday, 04/11/2022. Dr. Nathe did an amazing job in reattaching both tendons ( the left quad tendon had retracted substantially). I am making great progress in my recovery... walking without braces and no knee pain! I appreciate Dr. Nathe's expertise as an orthopedic surgeon and honesty in explaining the expectations of my recovery.
