I Had surgery 6 months ago on my Rotator Cuff in August of 2025. The Staff ,Service and Dr. Williams have been have been great ! They have given excellent service and care. I would highly recommend Lafayette Orthopedic Specialist and Dr. Williams to anyone needing any reconstructive surgeries. Truly 5 star service and care given ! I've read a few negative reviews on the wait times but you truly get what you pay for and some people just need to practice a little more kindness and patience. His services are in high demand and from what I've been told by many ive spoken to that he is one of the best in his field !!!

Dr. Matt Williams is the best orthopedic in the Acadiana area in my opinion when it comes to upper body extremities. He successfully repaired my teenage son‘s collarbone. Dr Williams is an outstanding Surgeon. Had my surgery on 7/11/2025 and should finish PT the end of October. I had two torn rotator cuff tendons and torn biceps ligament in my left shoulder. I’m about 90% back to normal in my range of motion. Not bad for 74. Glad I had Dr Williams and yes I love the new LOS surgery Center. Dr. Williams is an outstanding surgeon. He replaced my right shoulder a few years back and I've had no issues at all. I got full range of motion back quickly. I'm now having issues with left shoulder and we are starting a treatment plan. I have absolute confidence is his plan to take care of my issues. Easy to get scheduled. Everything from X-Rays, MRI, follow up appointments, and PT scheduled through their office without me having to do a thing. Doctors work with their patients, listening and addressing concerns, and building a recovery plan together with me and my Physical Therapist that has made this set back in my professional life tolerable. Everyone in the office is so friendly. And if the doctor is easy on the eyes, well, that’s not so bad either. lol Seriously, my injury and recovery was a huge blow (pun intended). Everyone from the front desk to check out and in between has greeted me with a smile, sense of humor, and the reassurance that I needed to get back to being me. Dr Williams is very personable, easy to understand, and knowledgeable. He explained my condition and went into detail how he will replace my joint, what the recovery period would consist of and when the rehabilitation will begin and the duration. It was my first visit the staff was absolutely wonderful very caring and kind. Dr. William’s explained everything to me. I never knew I had a old Injury to that shoulder he came up with a plan to try and get me some relief. I was very happy that he didn’t say take this medicine and I want to see you in a month. He wants to try some injections so I can get some relief. I truly love the staff and my doctor I don’t think I will ever use anyone but him. I saw Dr. Williams, he spend a lot of time going through my history, he did some extensive range of motion testing and xray.
