In my opinion. Dr. Mahmoud is one of the best surgeons around. He corrected my foot, when another doctor completely messed my foot up. Dr. Mahmoud has performed surgery on 2 different injuries on my right ankle. 10/28/22 The first surgery was an achilles tendon repair. After having failed results by another doctor, I made appointment with Dr. Mahmoud and he scheduled surgery to repair my achilles tendon. He was outstanding, I’m so glad I found him. My Achilles tendon is totally repaired with no problems. 10/08/24 My second surgery was to repair a broken ankle that occurred right after Hurrican Helene. It was broken in 3 places. Dr. Mahmoud had to pretty much put my ankle back together. And again he did outstanding work. My ankle is totally repaired with no problems. I can not praise Dr. Mahmoud enough. He has truly been my miracle worker to repair my injuries. He listens, he cares and he fixes!

After two years of working with Dr. Mahmoud I have to say goodbye. I first saw him because my foot and tibia were separating and causing extreme pain. So bad I was willing to have it amputated below the knee. He talked me into an ankle fusion which was completed in August of 2023. Every visit has only improved my situation. Today I took my 2 year old to an appointment and was blown away. This doctor walked in and made friends with my son (who was hysterically crying). The doctor went and got him cookies, held his teddy bear and gave high-fives! As the parent he was relatable, direct and very thoughtful about next steps. I could not imagine a better experience. Also - shout out to the women in the X-ray room with me and a very upset child who got HER child’s apple sauce pouch out and gave it to my son, put cartoons on their personal phone and never lost patience. After an unsuccessful surgery on my Achilles tendon by another orthopedic surgeon, (October 2021) who blamed me because I was still in pain and not getting better. Also he wanted to do another wasted surgery. At that point, I was ready to give up, but started searching for another orthopedic surgeon and I came across Dr. Mahmoud and made an appointment for the first of October 2022. He immediately started setting up surgery on my Achilles tendon and I was scheduled for surgery at the end of October. My journey since surgery has been very positive with positive results. I am so extremely thankful to Dr. Mahmoud for his knowledge and getting me back to a pain free life style.
