Dr. Sursal is very attentive. He listens very carefully to any and all concerns you might have. He explains everything so it's easy to understand. I always leave feeling so much better. My surgery was so successful and I'll be forever grateful.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Sursal following my x-rays and his review of same. He was very calm, informative and let me know an mri was needed to get more data on my lower back issues. He reached out to the mri sources and got my name on several lists to speed up the mri appointment process. I had my appointment with Dr. Sursal today. and was expecting the worst because of my ongoing back pain. The good news is believe it or not it’s only fractured lol but it will heal in a couple months and I don’t require surgery so that indicates to me that he makes sure that he covers what is needed not what he could do. I’m very appreciative for that. All of his staff, surgical Director, nurses, x-ray, tech assistant, scribe have all been very professional, friendly, and at the top of their game. Dr. Sursal was completely familiar with my MRI results and was easy to talk to. He listened attentively and gave me an excellent focused physical examination. He invited me to ask any questions and explained the plan of care he was proposing. I felt much safer knowing that he would be co-ordinating the care for my neck osteoarthritis.

Doctor Sursal just completed a procedure on my spinal L4L5 area. He removed a synovial cyst and cleared ligament tissue that was causing severe pain from stenosis as the nerve canal was being compressed. I spent one night in the hospital mainly to recover from the anesthesia , discharging at 11:00 am the next morning and have had no muscle pain. I have taken only one Tylenol. Dr. Sursal is an excellent, young, neurosurgeon. We were very pleased with his bedside manners, extensive knowledge, and clear explanation of the planned surgery. From the moment my husband and I first met Dr Sursal we both walked out knowing we were with the right neurosurgeon. He is caring kind easy to talk to and listens to what we have to say. He asked me several times at my pre op appointment if I had any questions several times and turned to my husband to see if he had concerns for my surgery in 4 days. His staff Mason and Aubrey are the same very caring. All I can say is Iam very confident having Dr Sursal as my Dr.
