Dr Thomason odds very professional, courteous, has wonderful bedside manner, truly cares about what you’re going through and how to make it as best he can. I have had multiple boats with him one-on-one as well as over 20 total procedures, I always feel like her listens, cares, and ensures her dues whatever he needs to do to make me feel better. I have had numerous steroid epidurals, ablations, and exams and he has never made me feel like my pain is not substantiated nor masked me feel like I am being manipulated into anything at all. Dr Thomason has me more than anyone has in 10 years. My visit today was for an injection in right siatic joint. I had been bad for a few weeks, so much that I was favoring my right side and the left side was bad also. He was able to treat both sides with only minor discomfort during the injections. I’ve been seeing Dr. Thomason for back issues and he performed a lumbar ablation that was very helpful. I’ve tried epidural’s in the past with little to no success, but I’m going to try again with him because he is a very skilled with his injections. Also, his office and lab have state of the art equipment. My procedure was done today with light sedation. Everything went fast and smooth. The doctor had an amazing best side manor to help you feel at ease. The nurses are awesome and they alway make you feel as comfortable as possible.. My IV was painless, and I was nice and relaxed for the shots. What a great experience today! I signed in at the kiosk, sat for about 10-15 minutes at the most. The nurse called me back, asked about allergies and if I had any questions.Dr Thomason greeted me, answered all my questions, and was so kind showing empathy for my back pain. He was very skillful, caused minimal discomfort with the injections… and I was up and sitting in ‘recovery’ for several minutes with some water and instructions for home care within a short time. Wow! As a nurse for over 40 years, being on the patient side of care isn’t my favorite experience… but I’m so glad Dr Thomason and his staff are so well prepared, knowledgeable, kind, and efficient! There are not enough adjectives in the English dictionary to describe, or give an excellent recommendation to this group of people as an entire team!! Also, another thing to love about this doctors office that you don’t see happen very often anymore today is that when you leave a message on that nurses line, they do call you back!!! Probably the last time that you were waiting on a doctors office to call you back and your phone actually rang, the person on the other end was trying to let you know that your car warranty was about to end!!! (😂) Instead of it being someone from your doctors office, calling you back. No! I can’t promise you that your name will be called the exact minute. Your appt was scheduled. But what I can promise you, is that when your name is called excellence in provider service is what you will receive. Starting from his nurses and including Dr Thomason himself. He sits down and makes you feel like you are the only person in the building that is there that needs help. For example …. On of my appt’s there were several issues I needed to go over with Dr T. They called me in the back about 8 - 9 minutes after my scheduled appt. I remember sitting in there thinking he’s not going to give me enough time to be able to go over all of what I needed to talk about before he needs to rush me out to go onto his next patient so I needed to get it in my head. What was my most important issues and try to get them first and leave my less important issues for last, just in case he cut me off to go onto the next patient because they were running late already. Dr. Schroer is a great surgeon! He did my surgery in September 2021 and I feel great. I had an ongoing issue that bothered me for years and was not sure if he could fix it but he said he will try and he did! I liked that he is very realistic and did not commit to fixing my issue verbally, until he actually was able to evaluate it laparoscopically. I also like that when we met for a first visit he already read the repots and reviewed my CT scans before speaking with me and the conversation was to the point and he offered solutions. Unfortunately I had other surgeries and some doctors waste patients time on multiple visits for something that can be done in one if they did their patient research, this is why I appreciated that this doctor did his research and came in the room with a solution. He is also partnering with a great anesthesiologist and team of medical professionals and my surgery experience was awesome. I would highly recommend Dr. Schroer if you need a great surgeon!Read more
