I was visiting Mesa Arizona for a week ended up with some infection in my eye. It started before I left the kept getting Worse. Called Dr. Hansen’s office and got in the same day and got a prescription for my eye which now I’m back in Iowa and it is doing great. Thank you so very very much. UPDATE, 2DEC2025: After seeing Dr. Hanson yesterday on an emergency visit after having a contact lens stuck in my eye, my review does not change one bit. She is a very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable eye doctor and I would recommend her to anyone that needs eye care. I do not hesitate to tell others that I have a great eye doctor in Dr. Hanson. Having worn eyeglasses since 1973 and contact lenses since 1979, I take my eye health very seriously. It was my first visit to this practice. It won’t be my last!The receptionist was personable and efficient. The waiting area was comfortable, with ample seating and complimentary beverages. The assistant to Dr. Hanson was knowledgeable and completed my history, present complaint, and a few tests quickly; but answered my questions without rushing. Dr. Hanson was reassuring, did a complete exam and put me at ease. It was a huge relief to learn that the issue with my eyes was chilling and easily remedied with an OTC medication. Dr Hanson has been treating me for Dry Eyes and monitoring my Macular Degenerative Disease for several years.
