I went to see Dr. Ibazebo for the second time due to hip and back pain related to a car accident. He was again one of the kindest doctors that I have encountered. He was very attentive to my needs and I felt very comfortable in his care. My first injection was in 2032 and was working fine until accident. I am confident that this one will do well too. My wife (age 88) has severe sciatic pain due to lower lumbar issues confirmed by MRI and personal exam. She is on max dose of pain killers that she cannot sustain. So she had epidural yesterday...which went nicely. Regarding pain relief, the jurying is still out, but she is definitely feeling some relief already. Wow highly recommend this place! Over the years in athletics and weight lifting, I’ve worked with many physical therapists and Tommy is by far the best one. He is extremely educated in his technique and has done nothing but help me get a little better each week from an injury I’ve had in my elbow for over 1 year now. After only working with him 5 weeks and being in a complete hopeless state of mind, i’m now almost back to where I want to be and most important, I’m able to go through my day, along with go to sleep at night without any pain. The check in was something amazing. iPads in front, private and accurate due to the data I already populated. It was much better than having to yell over a counter to give my HPI. Scheduling was super quick. Most specialists are pushed out months but I was able to get a 2 week out appointment. I was having more pain than usual so I called the office and was actually able to speak with the nurse instead of being put through voicemail and wait on a call back. I was listened to thoroughly by Susan, questioned appropriately and had my appointment the next day. The receptionist was accurate, approachable and sincerely nice. Triage was thorough and I felt listened to and understood and cared about. Dr Ibazebo did not rush the exam or the diagnosis. I did not feel like I was being rushed through. Dr. Ibazebo and his team demonstrated that they cared about me from the moment I entered the procedure waiting area. Before my procedure started, Dr. Ibazebo spoke with me to review my history and he explained what would happen during the procedure. During the procedure, he informed me of what he was about to do at every step so that I could be prepared. He and his assistant ( a really compassion individual!) reassured me the whole time, and I was surprised that I found myself at ease because this was the first time I had undergone this procedure, and I was initially nervous. While waiting to be discharged, Dr. Ibazebo and his staff checked on my repeatedly to make sure that I was feeling ok. The assistant who walked me out upon discharge made sure I was safely handed off to my family member so I could be driven home. I came in to see Dr. Ibazebo for steroid injections into my hip joint. I had very severe pain from osteoarthritis. He explained to me what was going to be done. During the procedure, we also chatted about my sports background and his background. It was all very friendly and informative. Just as I thought the numbing medications were completed and I thought the main injection was about to begin Dr. Ibazebo said, 'That's it we're done.' I was pleasantly surprised how easy and painless the whole thing was. Now, 12 days later I'm 98% pain free! I can expect to be comfortable like this for at least 3 months. My MRI experience couldn’t have been better; I arrived at 5:30 PM, last patient if the day on Saturday. Took me about 10 minutes to fill out the paperwork, at which time the technician (Rhonda, I believe) took me in the back at Murphy-Wainer and asked me a number of questions-very thorough, especially to make sure I had no metal on or in my person. She then took me to the MRI trailer, helped me up into it, then directly into the MRI machine with the assistance of another technician. Helped me with earplugs, asking often if I was comfortable, gave me a “panic button,” told me not to hesitate to use it if I needed to. While noisy, I soon adjusted to that inconvenience (have had a prior MRI), and it was over in about 20 minutes. Techs were incredibly kind, sympathetic, helpful, professional. Kudos to them for working well together and making an awkward experience easy for me. I definitely give this place 5 stars. I hurt my ankle/foot and was in major pain and went on a Saturday morning. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles from the reception desk. They used stellar COVID precautions to ensure safety. I did not have to wait long at all and was taken back to the exam room by caring staff. Everyone was profesdional, made me feel like they wanted to do all they could for me. If you have injury that is not getting better like I once did, Dr. Caffrey will get it figured out. He has found my injury solution 3 times.
