Dr Khatib performed a very complex surgery on my lower leg, to re-direct blood flow from what remained, of one of the calcified arteries below my knee, to the vascular system in my feet. The surgery took 6 hours starting at 4:30 pm and ending at 11:30 pm for him to perform, and was a success. There was no stop and take a rest for him, during this. I was awake the entire time, so I can verify what I’m saying. This was simply amazing. I would rate him and his team 6 stars if it were possible. I give thanks to God for giving Dr Khatib the skills and dedication to his craft, and to Dr Khatib for taking my case , which will now allow me to keep my foot. I had an appointment for a CAT scan and PET scan. While the results were normal, Dr. Khatib had a feeling that we should proceed with a catheter. The catheter showed total occlusion of one of the arteries with 85% occlusion of the other artery. He put the stent and saved my life on the spot. He also enjoys a compassionate attitude of empathy and a heavy reliance on a frank conversation with his patients and their families. I lately had the experience of being diagnosed by Dr. Khatib with a severe Aortic Valve Stenosis, who, together with Dr. Youssef Al-Saghir, ordered a series of tests and procedures and assembled a group of specialists, assistants, nurses and technicians, each with a defined role in the operation to replace the valve.
