There are no words that can explain how I feel about Dr. Boone. He gave me back my life back. I was in so much pain that I could barely walk. I went in crippled and walked out a new person. I am more than grateful for Dr. Boone and his staff. Especially Jay. I would call with a question and he always got back to me the same day. He always reassured me that I was not bothering them with my questions. Everybody ( nurses)that called to set up appointments were kind and patient and also answered all my questions. Dr. Boone and staff are all outstanding. Thank you Dr. Boone for giving me back my life.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Boone. He came highly recommended from friends that have had hip and knee replacements from him. We had a consultation about my hips. Both of my hips are bone on bone and one causes me quite a bit of pain. Dr. Boone was very thorough and had a great bedside manner. I did not feel rushed at all. He explained things in terms I could understand and was very patient in answering all of my questions. I will definitely have Dr. Boone replace my hip(s) when the time comes.

Seen Dr one for pain in my left knee. X-rays were taken and Dr. Boone determined that i had arthritis but it was not bad enough for even a partial knee replacement. He provided me with an injection instead. So happy I do not need a knee replacement again. However if I ever do Dr. Boone is the man. Wouldn’t trust anyone else. My right knee replacement he did in 2021 still feels great.

Rather than flat out deny based on BMI, he explained what it would take from me to get where I needed to be for the surgery. Dr Boone did a full replacement on my right knee in January of 2025. I am extremely impressed with his skill level, bedside manner and how I was treated overall. I sat in my car after the first appointment crying tears of relief. I recently saw Dr. Boone for a second opinion for a possible hip revision. I have unique symptoms that have been challenging to diagnose the cause and had an evaluation with Dr. Boone to advise on best options for resolution. Dr. Boone was very thorough - reviewed my history and images and explained hip revision options along with risks. He answered my questions and was very responsive. I especially commend the coordination with my primary surgeon, Dr. Hulst, who is also at Proliance with Dr. Boone. I have a complex orthopedic history that stems from childhood and both surgeons have been outstanding. The care has been excellent and despite my complicated situation, I am confident in the direction from Dr. Boone and Dr. Hulst. I am very impressed with the responsiveness and follow up provided by both Dr. Boone with Dr. Hulst. Their expertise in complex hip disorders and surgical intervention is some of the best I have encountered both in my long term career as a healthcare executive and as a patient with a complex orthopedic history attributed to a chronic illness. I feel fortunate to be in their care and highly recommend.

It’s always a great day when I get to see Dr. Boone. I feel reassured with X-rays and exams that I am in fact healing and making progress. I feel that I am making progress at home and it’s nice to have it confirmed. I had to have really major and complex surgery from Dr. Boone and he made it less scary and honestly a piece of cake. A friend of mine has the same surgery with a different doctor and her results aren’t nearly as good as mine mobility wise. I’m very very thankful for Dr. Boone and I’m excited to do my other side. I’ll be 100% back to normal in no time. I recommend him to everyone that needs knee or hip surgery.

Care is the operative word in regard to Dr. Boone and his team of medical professionals. I recently had hip replacement surgery by Dr. Boone. From the office staff to the x-ray personnel, medical assistants, and the physicians assistants I received excellent medical care. The MA’s demonstrated they cared when dealing with my texts and phone calls, which were answered quickly. Dr. Boone, while obviously busy, took the time to show he cared about me as a patient and person. I was handled with care throughout the experience. The booklet on hip replacement I was given during my first visit was thorough and turned out to be my “bible” for the last couple months. I visited a few orthopedic surgeons before making my decision to go with Dr Boone. Super glad I decided to drive from Bellingham to Seattle and Bellevue. Pre-op was very professional. All the information you could need comes with the book they send you home with. The surgery center was clean and efficient. Dr. Boone did a third PRP injection into my OA knee. As per usual, Dr. Boone was warm, explained things thoroughly, and, as an excellent caregiver, he came in to do the blood draw himself because it was difficult to find a vein. 48 hours later my knee feels great and I am up and moving, ready for more beach walks and other favorite activities. I find Dr. Boone to be exceptionally trustworthy as he has always been forthright with me about my conditions. (He also treated my shoulder fracture a few years ago and was very clear about which activities were OK and which were not.) When someone can kindly and empathetically say ‘no, not yet’ to a question such as ‘can I run?’ , they have my full respect.

Dr. Boone did a fantastic job on my hip revision surgery. At our 6-8 week visit after surgery, I complained about pain in my other hip. Dr. Boone brought up my CT scan and pointed out the bone spurs and was very upfront about future surgery and in the meantime gave me a shot in my hip right then without having to wait for another appointment. Much appreciated since we live out of town. Very pleased with Dr. Boone!

Dr. Boone exceeded my expectations, and that was very reassuring and encouraging to me. I feel extremely confident in trusting him with my hip replacement. Dr. Boone is very courteous and personable, yet spoke directly to the issues that mattered. The PA and techs all worked well together as a team. My appointment went smoothly and efficiently despite a few minutes delay that is insignificant compared with visits to some other healthcare organizations. Record keeping and paperwork is handled accurately and quickly. Front counter people also did a great job communicating with me. They were my first contacts with the doctors, and were most helpful and understanding. Everyone worked really well together. I am going to have my knee replacement surgery in the end of April. Before seeing Dr. Boone, I saw probably six other doctors. Nobody so far compares to dr. Boone. I have lots of anxiety around my knee. His information about surgery is well organized and complete, so you know exactly what is going to happened before and after surgery. His team is extremely well organized as well. Dr. Boone is extremely smart, he processes and makes decisions in a split second. I've noticed that in my appointments how fast he processes information that the other human would read for little time. He is very honest, friendly, and humble at the same time. He takes his time to explain everything. I never felt rushed my appointments. In my opinion he is the best in the area. I don't think I would decide for knee replacement surgery if I didn't have a luck of finding dr. Boone.

I have had 3 surgeries with Dr Boone. A quat tendon repair and both hips replaced (2017,19,23). The last hip replacement was about 2 weeks ago. I had a partial knee replacement by Dr. Boone in June and cannot give enough praise to him and his staff , from my pre op visit to my final 6 week check up. The front office staff, scheduler, PA and MA staff are all so efficient, professional and friendly. Dr. Boone was very thorough and patient in explaining the procedure to me (I had had a previous knee arthroscopy the year before at another facility and did not have a good outcome) and also reassuring. I felt completely confident in him. I had my surgery at the outpatient facility in Issaquah and the staff there, from front desk to anesthesia to nurses, were all excellent. I am also so impressed with the booklet that is provided with extensive information from pre op to post op recovery. As a semi retired nurse , I know how important it is for patients to have good and pertinent information. I would give Dr. Boone and his staff 10 stars if I could, and want to thank them all for such excellent care.

I am 81 years old and expected a much longer an more difficult rehab. I was back in the gym by the end of the third week on the exercise bike working on range of motion. Went to Dr Boone after seeing several Doctors after a bad fall I had had at Costco in 2014 . Have had a lot of pain and discomfort ever since along with a meniscus surgery, other Doctors did not listen , he recommended a pain specialist for my groun pain that was so bad it actually would send me falling to the ground, they were able to take the pain away that I had been having for 6 years. Also he has been helping with my knee I am currently waiting for knee replacement surgery in 2 weeks and am very excited to finally be pain free . He is a A++ for listening to what you have to say . I have recommendations from 3 people that have had hip and knee surgery's from Dr Boone and feel that I will be in good hands.

OMG-I was completely blown away by the staff, the surgery team, and Dr. Boone. After months of trying to figure out what the heck the pain and problem was, Dr. Boone NAILED IT. As a 63 year old man I have certainly had my fair share of medical procedures in my lifetime, that is for sure. I have NEVER had an experience like I just had with Dr. Boone and his entire staff. Friendly, efficient, caring, thorough and above all, professionally, over-the-top expertise and talent. After my first consultation Dr. Boone personally called me AT HOME to make me aware of one small aspect of the procedure my insurance wouldn't over. Who does that anymore?! Don't go anywhere else.

I could not be more pleased with Dr. Boone and his staff. Dr. Boone is friendly and very skilled at his trade. I followed their program at every step of the way and had a very good experience. My hip replacement went very well with out any issues. I certainly needed the replacement and am very glad that I had it done. I'm back 100% now.

If you are looking for a good Doc to do a knee replacement, I highly recommend Dr. Boone. I had him do my left knee and was only in hospital for about 10-12 hours. Then went home and started at home rehab in a few days and now after 6 weeks am swinging a golf club which is 2-3 weeks sooner than normal. Dr. Boone used the Stryker robot which was far less invasive and is the reason it shortened my recovery. Dr. Boone is the “Man”.

Dr Boone was one of the best Dr’s I’ve ever had. Very thorough, detailed and calming. Had me up and walking first day. Very little pain management needed. By 2 weeks no more walker and before week 4 no cane either. Scar is clean and looks really good. Wouldn’t want another surgeon that’s for sure!

Dr. Boone and his entire team work together as a well oiled machine to deliver top notch surgical results. Dr. Boone has replaced both my hips due to osteoarthritis. There are no surprises - all pre and post OP appointments are set at one time, necessary prescriptions are provided before surgery, and they even hold a ‘class’ where you come to the office and have the entire hip replacement surgery explained to you. You are able to ask ANY questions you may have about any aspect of the surgery. Here it is only six weeks post OP and I’m going to go out and mow the lawn with a push mower - TOTALLY PAIN FREE!

Dr. Boone was extremely pleasant, honest and reassuring. He gave me his honest opinion and took all factors into consideration and fortunately did not feel I needed surgery after being told I did by a different physician. I really liked his conservative approach and general demeanor. If I ever do need surgery, I would definitely go to Dr. Chris Boone.

Went to Dr. Boone yesterday 11/12/20, reception team was very professional, friendly and thorough. Did the usual pre screen in the room with the assistant, X-rays taken, again very professional and technically competent team member. Met with Dr. Boone and explained my situation, he inquired about my family and situation which made me feel comfortable as he is very personable and caring. He provide me options to get my physical activity back on track, I was impressed with his appreciative inquiry, and would highly recommend him and his team.

Dr. Boone has been fantastic! He has a low key practical approach that seeks non-surgical options before surgery. He is a great surgeon and has performed one fusion and two knee operations, most recently a full left knee replacement. His use of a Mako surgical robot made a huge difference in my recovery compared to my full right knee replacement 2 1/2 years ago performed by Dr. Alan Brown, a firmer Parner. I definitely recommend Dr. Boone and his team.

I had my total left hip repalcement 5 months ago, now I can play tennis,walking, do the things I enjoyed before my hip problem. My experience seeing Dr.Boone was just as I’d hoped it would be. He was very attentive and answered all my questions. I was there to see him about my right knee, but since I asked him to recheck my left as well, he had both knees ex-rayed. After diagnosing the right, he gave me a steroid injection which has helped considerably. He also rechecked the left knee. As a physician, Dr. Boone is thorough and very competent, and shows genuine caring for his patients.

I was totally pleased with Dr. Boone and his staff through both a hip revision (early March 2020) and a total knee replacement (late June 2020). Really glad I was referred to Dr. Boone! At first I was a bit skeptical about outpatient knee replacement, but my concerns were unnecessary. I felt ready to go home the same day of my surgery. Dr. Boone is very skilled, and I believe the state-of-the-art surgical robot he uses also helped make this happen. I was told it reduces surgical trauma by enabling more precise procedures and less “opening up” of the joint. Having had the surgery, I believe this is true. My recovery has been faster than I had expected. Lastly, I was very impressed with Dr. Boone’s easygoing, friendly approach. He fostered great trust from the start. Thanks very much, Dr.Boone, and all your great team!

Dr. Boone performed a total (right) knee replacement for me on October 23rd. It went exactly as he predicted and I went home the same day. His aftercare instructions were concise and comprehensive and the post operative visits confirmed that the recovery was progressing at a VERY good pace. The recommended physical therapy should help me get back on skis by February. If I ever (k)need the other knee replaced, Dr. Boone will be my choice.

Not only is Dr. Boone kind, attentive to every detail, and a talented surgeon, he has also intentionally staffed his team with like-minded individuals. After six months of hip pain, I cautiously entertained the idea that I needed medical care. On meeting Dr. Boone, I was immediately at ease. He took time to answer my questions, explain the process of a total hip replacement, and describe the use of the latest robot-assisted technology for the surgery; I left his office with my surgery scheduled confident I would be in expert care. I received a detailed booklet about the surgery prepared by Dr. Boone; I attended a class facilitated by Dan Lane, PA-C, a member of Dr. Boone's team, who also provided detailed information about the surgery and an opportunity to ask questions. I am now six weeks post-surgery and receiving excellent physical therapy from Clyde Johnson, a member of Dr. Boone's team. Dr. Boone is to be commended for his excellence in orthopedic surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Boone and his team.

I have been a patient of Dr. Boone’s for over 4 years. In 2016 he did an anterior Left hip replacement, in 2017 he did a minimally invasive SI joint fusion and two months ago he did a right hip replacement. After working in healthcare for over 35 years, I knew how important the expertise of the surgeon is to have good outcomes. And so, I asked all my physical therapy friends, whose patients do best after total hip replacements? Hands down, it was Dr. Boone, So even though his practice was on “the other side of the lake”, I decided to go to him. He has not disappointed! All 3 surgeries have been very smooth with little tissue damage. But most importantly, the outcomes from these surgeries have resolved over 15 years of frustration trying to get rid of hip and “butt” pain. For each of these surgeries, I was aware Dr. Boone was using some “new, cutting edge’ technique or device. He seems to be an early and skilled adapter of new technologies which I think is really important to make sure one achieves absolutely the best outcomes. I am now 99% of the time totally pain free. Most remarkably, whether I saw him in the hospital or in the office, Dr. Boone was always fully present and totally focused on me. I never got the feeling that he needed to hurry off and go do something else. I feel like I have my life back and at 71, am ready to get back to hiking the great NW. Dr. Boone is absolutely the best.

Dr Boone and his staff are great. I had a total hip replacement done about 2 1/2 weeks ago. My recovery has been amazingly fast. I believe it is because of his skills and the anterior approach he used. My recovery may be different than some, I was out of the hospital the same day, off heavy duty pain Meds in three days, got rid of the walker in 1/2 week and off cane at 1 and 1/2 weeks. The support is great, all my questions answered right away. Don't wait to get this done if you need it. The pain in my hip was gone the first day. The only pain and tightness was from the incision (which is to be expected but less pain than my old messed up hip). Over all a great experience and when my right hip needs replacing I will not hesitate to go back to Dr Boone and his staff.
