The front office staff and the medical assistants were friendly and supportive. They were understanding and helpful even when I complained about the routine problems with their electronic pre-appointment software. The patient software system has never worked on my end. Its too slow and after you make changes the software system looses the changes. What a pain in the rump. Medically, Dr. Taylor and his team are fantastic. The Intern was great to speak with and I wish her many years of success. The technician that gave my injection was very professional and supportive. She was on top of keeping the procedure table sanitary and efficient when she was preparing the shot. She confirmed what I was experiencing and had great confidence with the procedures completion. One of my excellent drs visit. Waited reasonable time, seen, let the dr know about my problem- few questions asked & plan of care done in less than 2 minutes. My favorite part was when Kendall the ortho supervisor came in w the needles , medications & bandages. She listened re my concern that as much as possible lessened the pain/ numb my left & right thumb enough so I will not feel when she inject the meds into my thumbs. It hurts but she did it so nice that I’m so glad for her experience & knowledgeable about her job. She did excellent job. Of course all the staff fr ck in Dept was so nice & professional. Dr. Taylor got me into his office on very short notice after a fall left unable to use my dominant hand. He was able to order Xrays in house to ensure there were no fractures, so I didn't have to run in between multiple offices. He was detailed, personable, and reassuring in what he believed to be the issue with my hand and what the recovery process would entail. After weeks of misery I finally made the appointment with Dr. Taylor to try to get relief from the tendonitis, swelling and pain in my thumb. I was amazed when told that the problem was going to be treated the same day. Yes, 5 stars! ~ One week prior to my scheduled hand surgery, I had an appointment with Dr. Taylor for a quick follow up and to sign medical release forms. He asked to see my hand. After a brief examination, he said, "You know, I'm going to cancel your surgery. Let's monitor it over the next couple months. If the mass increases, you feel any pain, or anything changes, let me know as soon as possible." {{I’m sorry, what?!}} He didn't think surgery was necessary at this time. The mass had reduced considerably, the biopsy had already proved it was benign, and putting me under anesthesia unnecessarily wouldn't be in my best interest. I've worked in the medical field and every doctor I'd known would have taken the "Well, we've already scheduled it, it's virtually a no-risk procedure, and it's not going to hurt you.” approach. They wouldn’t have passed up an easy "sale". Dr. Taylor was looking at it from the perspective of what was best for ME. Low-risk or not, performing an unnecessary surgery was not ethically prudent. This spoke volumes to me about his integrity as a physician. "Do no harm" is part of their medical code, but he took it a step farther. "Do no harm, and don't take your patient's money just because there's no harm". This is what we should expect from every doctor. The framed degrees on the wall are proof they are qualified, but tell you nothing of their integrity as a doctor. I applaud Dr. Taylor for making the best choice for me, his patient. I recently was operated on by Dr. Taylor to correct a carpel tunnel issue I’ve been experiencing. He and is staff did an amazing job. I can’t say enough about their operating procedure, appointment scheduling and bedside manners. I was nervous going into the surgery, but I have nothing but praise now. I have been having the same issue with both hands and plan on having Dr. Taylor do the same surgery to my left hand in a few months. I have been a patient for 10 plus years, after experiencing a trigger finger problem. Well now I have had 4 trigger finger releases, two on each hand, and have been extremely happy with all procedures. The office has many doctors, so calling for a first time appointment sometimes takes patience. I am a leftie. Three years ago, I broke my left wrist. Dr. Taylor fixed it. He also removed the plate and screws. However, 4 fingers remained numb. About 2 yrs ago, my left arm started to fall asleep at night and also when I was driving for more than 20-25 miles. Its not just a painful experience, its also dangerous.
