My husband shattered his leg in 2010 and they did a fantastic job reparing it. In 2012 he broke both his knee caps and that was resolved. In 2015 Dr Roberts repaired my massive rotator cuff tear and he did a great job. I have an artritic right knee that down the line will need a replacement. Four months ago I got an injection that made me pain free for approximately 100 days. I returned today to have Scott Lamb, Nurse Practioner do another injection in my knee and in my husband's arthritic right hand. Scott is amazing , have been to him many times over the past 20 years. Doc Robert's and his staff are first class I had to have my hip replaced. And I was back to work in less than 2 months that is the truth that was about 3yr ago now I have to have both my shoulders replaced. He was the one I thought of first. Mad a appointment with him. He refurd me to a college of his. Instead of just telling me he doesn't do shoulder surgery he examined me and told me the needed to be replaced and found me a doctor to help me Instead of just saying he didn't do that kind of surgery. My hip was in pain for over 6 years because I was too stubborn to see anyone. I work construction and the pain finally became too much to effectively do my job. I got up some nerve and saw Dr. Roberts. If I could give him six stars I would. He gave me several options and recommended a hip replacement. I was a little nervous but he really made me feel good about it. After the surgery the pain was minimal, and recovery was faster than I thought it would be. There’s no more pain doing regular activities at all, and at work I’m much better than I used to be. Extension ladders, crawl spaces, attics, rooftops. No sweat. Had an appointment with Dr. Robert's today due to falling and injuring my left knee to where it was swollen and.so very painful. Could not.put any weight on it at all. And the right knee has been needing to be replaced for about 5 years now. Dr. Robert's was extremely helpful and he is sending me.for an MRI to find out what is causing all the pain. Dr Roberts replaced my right hip in 2016 without any issues and eliminating my pain. He told me at that time my left hip would eventually need to be replaced also and it would let me know. Just as he said my left hip started renewing my memories of the pain from my right hip in 2016. Two weeks ago he and his staff and surgery team replaced my left hip and with my hip pain eliminated my left foot has also stopped being irritated from my walking with hip pain. Dr Roberts performed a total hip replacement for me in August 2023 at Cookeville Regional Hospital. He explained the entire procedure prior to the surgery date and everything went as planned. I did have to stay overnight in the hospital due to my blood pressure dropping and while I was there, I was well taken care of by the hospital nursing staff.My recovery and post op evaluations have been on target and without any issues. Dr Roberts, his nurse and PA’s are very professional and attentive, answering all my questions and concerns. My health and quality of life has greatly improved due to this surgery. Tier One runs like a clock. Arrival and check-in was fast and I was confirming details of my issues. Within 5 minutes they took x-rays and another 5 minutes and Dr. Roberts was examine me. The pictures showed clearly the problems and he gave me steroid shots in both shoulder joints and signed me up for 4 weeks of PT and a followup with him in 6 weeks. I went to Tier One this morning because I injured my knee on the leg that Dr. Roberts operated on last year. I was in terrible pain and couldn't walk very well. My husband was going to take me across the street to their walk in clinic since I did not have an appointment. Dr. Roberts and his staff were wonderful. They told me that they would work me in to see Dr. Roberts. He was so kind and caring and after doing an X-ray sent me home with a brace for my knee and a follow up appointment for 2 weeks.
