Dr. Benjamin Freilich is an outstanding doctor. He is my eye specialist, but he asks me overall wellness health questions too. I don’t have many other doctors who care that much. He is in the class of Dr. Stephen Brunnquell and Dr. Walter Klein.He is a superstar.His humility doesn’t let him know it, but he’s awesome.The support staff on Tuesday was wonderful. On last Friday, meh 🫤. They could be friendlier. I have seen Dr. Freilich since May and he is a really great doctor. I saw some negative comments about him, but he really cares about patients. I had unknown rashes on my face which was not related to his specialty so he called a doctor at the office in front of me and asked if he could send me. Who does that?? I understand some people might think he is not super friendly, but he found out what my eye issue was when other two doctors I saw before him misdiagnosed. I had vitrectomy done last Tuesday. Since the eye pressure was low during my first post op visit in that eye, my retina specialist had told me not o use my glaucoma Eye drops in that surgical eye. This morning, I could not wait for the office to open to call so I can be seen. I never slept last night because I was experiencing excruciating pain in that eye, severe headache and had vomited twice during the night as well, also I could not see using that eye. I was so closed to dial 911. As soon as I called the office, the secretary told me that I must be seen this morning. She secured an appointment for me with Dr. Freilich. After I explained everything to him , Dr. Freilich checked my eye and my eye pressure which was 50 . Dr. Freilich reassured and I am quoting him" I will help you and will make you feel better in no time he said". Yes indeed after he performed a procedure in that eye, right away, the pain in that eye and the headache were better..Thank you Dr. Freilich for your kindness, your professionalism and intelligence.
