Very knowledgeable doctor, office visit is fast. Dr. Jonisch recognized I had a detached retina, and my eye was in bad shape. He acted fast and had me in emergency surgery the next day with one of the best surgeons at VRC. I was 75% blind in the left eye when I came to him. Excellent doctor who I thank for acting quick to restore my sight. I was sent to him by my eye doctor. He saw that I had a detached retina and my eye was in bad shape; I was not in any pain just that something was not right with my vision. I could only see out of 25% of my left eye. Dr. Jonish is EXCELLENT, I don’t usually give a review after the first visit, let alone a raving review as I'm writing now but I had too. We all know sometimes it takes at least two visits to find the true good and maybe not so good in a doctor that you have put your faith and care into their hands. I was extremely surprised as to his thoroughness and knowledge (with me being T2 diabetic and knowing the difference in intravenous that could kill my kidneys) knew exactly what was safe and even prescribed half of what is totally safe. That meant everything to me. If it was safe he could have just told them to use it but I heard him tell the nurse give him HALF dose! Result, it worked perfectly in the pictures I will recommend him highly to anyone considering his services! He is authentic and it’s refreshing to now have a Dr that I feel cares about me as a person and not a patient number. I should also mentioned the office staff, I haven’t met anyone I didn’t like!
