Dr. Khaja is an excellent physician. He is very thorough, listens to his patients, and takes the time to explain the patients medical condition and treatments. I had an elusive heart issue with three different diagnoses from multiple physicians and it was Dr. Khaja who was able to determine my medical condition and correct it. He recommended a smart watch to monitor my heart, reviewed all my results and medical records over an extended period of time and did not dismiss me or label it something it was not. I was very impressed with how my appointment went today. Wait time was reasonably short. I recently had a heart ablation and was unsure of my limitations as to how active I could be. Dr khaja assured me I could resume normal activities. He also informed me of a new approved procedure known as Pulse Field Ablation, which is shorter in duration (time) and safer than the traditional heart ablation. My experience at the hospital was great for my procedure. All the people there were great. Saw Lady NP first she was very pleasant and knowledgeable and just plain smart. Doc was great! I like to see young folks do good. My only concern is time Docs so busy. Heart problems are scary all of us know that Death is close by. So again time works against us no matter how good Docs are. I wouldn't trust anyone else but Dr Patell he is the Man. Love Dr. Khaja, he truly listens to you. He spends as much time as needed and you never feel rushed. And he's very good at what he does! I have suffered with AFib for the last 34 years and nobody, and there have been many, has told me that I need to have an ablation. They have put in a defibrillator and add pill after pill, year after year. After my ablation he told me that I needed so much ablation that he really didn't think it would work. But it did. He has put my heart back into normal rhythm. My heart rate went from 90bpm to 65! He is very personable and easy to understand, I am very happy I found Dr. Khaja.Patient Submitted Review

I had a very bad experience with this medical office and left to receive care from a physician in Pensacola at Sacred Heart Hospital. After my Doctor moved to North Carolina a friend told me he received a heart ablation procedure conducted by Dr Khaja. The procedure was a success and he highly recommended Dr. Khaja. I decided to seek care from Dr Khaja after checking his credentials and I am very happy I did. He is very thorough and attentive. He reviewed all my medical records and discussed my care options. My experience with Dr. Khaja was very good. He is very professional and shows tremendous expertise in his field. obviously highly trained. I never realized just how severe my condition of afib and aflutter had become until after the ablation procedure was performed. I had been on medication to control these issues and my body did not tolerate these medications well at all. He found all the problems with the ablation and corrected them. I was super impressed w Dr K. He convinced me that an ablation was not only the best course of treatment , it may be only one unless I wanted an ICD- which I abhor the thought! He was very relaxed, very thorough and very knowledgeable. I have struggled to get rid of PVCs ( even after successful Open Heart (4 vessel) surgery).
