Dr Chad Bailey did a phenomenal job on my bilateral skin sparring double mastectomy. I had stage 1a breast cancer, small 1.1 cm tumor yet more cancer was found in my lymph nodes during surgery so it was a good thing I did the double mastectomy. Dr Bailey was very informative throughout the whole process from the first consultation through to my expander fills. He has been very reassuring by answering all of my questions about the expanders and implants. I’m looking forward to my expander to implant swap out once chemotherapy is finished. Ann in the office (as well as all the others) is very friendly and personable which has helped through all the curveballs that came my way with this cancer. I was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of years ago. After choosing my oncologist and breast surgeon, I did some research and found Dr. Bailey. His education, experience, and areas of expertise, were why I originally chose him as my reconstruction plastic surgeon. And I am SO THANKFUL that I found him. First, he is great at taking time to explain procedures and answer questions. He is honest about outcomes, and does not sugar coat the reality of breast cancer reconstruction surgery. Second, his work is fantastic...I could not believe how minimal the scaring was after my first surgery! and how well the end result has turned out. Third, when my body went sideways due to factors unrelated to his work, and things got really tough for me emotionally, he was kind, gentle, and understanding. He gave me all the time I needed to ask questions, run scenarios, and process my next step. I felt cared about, listened to, and understood. I have gone through a lot in the last two years, and he has been there for me, every step of the way. I could not have gotten through this without him. I won't lie...he is a busy guy, and if I was in for a quick check, it was just that...quick (which I actually liked). But he is there when it counts, when you need him to be, which coupled with his skill, is what truly matters. That, and the heart he pours into it. Dr. Bailey and his whole office staff are so kind, caring, professional, compassionate, and honest. He takes his time explaining every detail and possible outcome of a desired procedure. He does so after taking the time to get to know his patients and understanding why they want to make a change. He does not promise anything he can't deliver and will also advise against things he feels are unnecessary and a waste of money. He is not in this profession to make money and rake in dollars. He truly cares about the well being of his patients, physically, mentally, and financially. I can't speak highly enough of him and his WHOLE staff! It has now been 2 years since my surgery and I'm beyond happy with my results. I live in Chicago now and visit Seattle several times throughout the year. I have since also started doing Botox and I only trust Dr. Bailey with that. I make it a point to see him about twice a year during my visits for touch ups. I couldn't wait any longer to give my best review to the amazing staff and a wonderful Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery Dr. Chad Bailey. I am two days after my surgery and cannot believe what an amazing and warm team gave me the best experience from start to finish. Appreciate Dr. Bailey taking time to go over the diagnosis clearly and my treatment options. I was diagnosed with breast cancer this past summer and was lucky enough to find my oncologist who recommended me Dr. Bailey. His staff was always helpful and kind. Dr. Bailey was present during my bilateral mastectomy and placed my temporally tissue expanders. He replaced them with the implants, and I do feel great. Of course, sore, almost no bruises at all. Surgical team was AMAZING! I do remember they were all smiling, and I took my nap and was ready to go home in a few hours. They ensured I had a smooth prep and surgery. The Ambulatory surgery center is accredited through the AAAASF and very comfortable. I am a patient of Dr.Bailey in 2021. I underwent a right breast mastectomy, and Dr.Bailey made a great breast reconstruction surgery(DIEP Flap) for me. He is a responsible and reliable doctor. He is highly medically skillful and also has his own understanding on aesthetics. I think aesthetics is very important for a plastic surgeon. I'm particularly satisfied with the DIEP Flap reconstruction to my right breast. After the surgery, my both breasts are almost as same in shape, they look natural and beautiful.
