My overall visit with Dr. McShirley was impeccable. I started with Pamela, his nurse practitioner or PA, Dr. Mc Shirley came in shortly afterwards. He made sure I understood his evaluation of my current cardiac health, my medical prescriptions were up to date, and when I am scheduled for my next regular visit. Dr McShurley was very thorough, listened and explained everything in understandable terms. I feel comfortable with his guidance regarding my cardiovascular health. This my first visit and I am happy that I chose this practice and Dr McShurley. Everyone is very professional and positive. Stellar Doctor. He gave my 96 year old Dad better feet circulation via leg stents. Huge improvement as well as care regarding his pacemaker. Nice and friendly and astute. My dad is 95 years old - this visit was very informative and encouraging. The office staff - Tracy - was efficient and also very kind and thorough. Tracy called me with an update only two hours following our visit that morning. I really appreciate having a branch office on the beach where my dad lives - saving at least an hour in drive time to the Baldwin Road location. 5 years ago, Dr. McShurley was practicing in California. He diagnosed a 95% blockage in an intersection of two veins in my heart. He rotor-rooted the blockage out and then placed a stent in to keep the vein open. Haven't had any trouble since then. He also followed up for a year, every couple of months until he moved to Florida - which is California's loss. Too expensive to live here. Thank you Doctor. This is James Snider. Doctor McShurly is a wonderful physician. When I was experiencing a coronary blockage, he performed the stent procedure. That was 3 years ago and I've had no problems. I took my elderly brother to Dr. McShurley. We were very pleased with the treatment he received and the efficiency of his office. He was given an appointment quickly (his condition was very serious and he had been to the ER) and he was seen exactly on time. I wish the front desk had a whiteboard with the doctors names and if they are on time for appointments we’re going to be late. We had this in New Hampshire and it worked excellent.
