I have a complicated case. After many other doctors had refused to help me, I was very appreciative that Dr. Kronlage took the time to even attempt to fix my problem. He didn't turn me away after the initial consultation & was extremely honest with me throughout the whole process. I even drove from another state. He accommodated me by having virtual consultations & follow-ups most of the time. Not that Dr. Kronlage personally stitched me up, but the scar from my surgery that he did looks really, really good, & I had almost no bruising at all. His staff was really helpful as well. Dr. Kronlage is down to earth and a no BS kinda guy- not many of those folks left anymore. I appreciate his straight to the point approach. Just had surgery and need another, and he is the best. Highly recommend this doc if you need your issue fixed and not just covered up with medication. Underwent a wrist arthroscopy last December and had a stress-free experience thanks to Dr. Kronlage and his team. Leading up to the surgery, they made sure they executed their own X-Ray and MRI to ensure they had the most up-to-date information regarding my injury, instead of leaving to chance the evaluation of another organization. They made sure I was well informed leading up to and the day of the surgery, with Dr. Kronlage visiting me before hand to make sure he was able to answer any questions I may have. The recovery timeline was right with what was explained to me, and his whole staff was great in making sure I was scheduled promptly for the removal of my cast. They made sure I always walked away with any questions answered and were very easy to reach when I did have a question regarding levels of exertion while in recovery. Dr Kronlage operated on my arthritic right thumb and removed a bone (G on his hand model) at the base. He also removed a tendon from that forearm and fashioned a loop/sling to hold thumb in place. Although his is an over-simplification, the point is that it was a pretty impressive procedure. After six weeks, the recovery is going well but does take some time (was duly warned before surgery). Dr Kronlage takes the time needed to explain the procedure, and answers questions with easy to understand verbage. He is very personable and easy to talk to. Charles, med' assist & Rns wobderful & caring team removed ER cast & took xrays. Surprised, Dr. Kronlage walks in & stated bad wrist break. I had a great experience from the time I approached the front door and asked the very nice parking attendants outside for directions on where to go. I then entered the doors to the very pleasant and happy men checking temperatures that gave me directions again. 🙄 When I got to the reception area I was glad that I came early because there was a LOT of info to fill out and the receptionist was very sweet and offered to help in anything I may need. Dr Kronlage was recommended for repairing my son's elbow after a very bad fall fracturing it and tearing both tendons and the muscle away. Dr Kronlage was incredible with handling the issue and got us in very promptly. Any time we had a question, he was available and got us right in to check anything we were concerned about and checked things to make sure and give us reassurance. He was supposed to be in a hinged brace after the cast until October and he has done so well, he has already been able to come out of the brace. I was so scared to have carpal tunnel surgery that I have suffered for years. Finally I lost feeling in both hands and was scared the damage was permanent. Dr. Kronlage did the surgery. Instead of being put too sleep, I chose to have local. It took him less than 6 minutes, to scrape out the muscle that was pinching the nerve and I didn't have to deal with the hangover from the anesthesia. I fell and damaged my elbow in December. After an ex-ray it was determined I had not broken my elbow by my GP. Several months of pain later my GP sent me to Dr. Kronlage. After a couple of weeks of treatment based on the ex-rays originally taken he saw that my elbow was not healing and took an ex ray in his office. Based on that ex ray he ordered a MRI with injected dye. It turns out that I had a broken elbow and a ruptured triceps as well as an aggressive antibiotic resistant bacteria in the bone. He did emergency surgery, repaired the damage and removed infected tissue. Even though the surgery was done on Friday he was at the hospital everyday, including the weekend until I was dismissed. He also worked closely with the infectious disease doctor with my IV treatments over a 2 month period to eradicate the bacteria. Without his quick response I could have lost my arm or worse. He and each of his office staff are caring professionals, and some of the most effective people I've seen in a physician's office. He knows his job and he does it very well.Patient Submitted Review

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kronlage. He has performed Dupytrens Contracture release surgery on both my hands with excellent results post-operative. I drive six hours to Pensacola because he is the only orthopedic doctor I trust with my hands. I tore the tfcc in my wrist and it was diagnosed upon my first visit to Dr. Kronlage. He was very informative and I opted for surgery with a sense of relief. He worked with me following the surgery and assisted me through the restrengthening process. A year later I am in the best shape of my life and have not noticed one time where my wrist has given me issues.
