SouthCoast has services for most types of practices including radiology making it convenient for referrals you may need. Your Doctor will also be able to access results and reports for timely communication. Virtual visits are also available. I wanted to find a primary doctor in my new place of residency. I was nervous about using SouthCoast because the scheduling process was absolutely horrendous. However, when I showed up to my appointment 30 minutes early I was greeted by friendly staff. My nurse called me back 20 minutes before my scheduled time. Dr Hightower’s nurses were exceptional. Dr Hightower and staff are great! I've been going to him for years. It is very helpful that he saves a few appointments each day for patients who are acutely ill. I have always been able to get a last minute appointment. A few times it had to be with another doctor in the practice but that's okay-I was seen and was not sent to the ER (as can be the practice in some medical offices in Savannah).
