Loved the visit because I actually got to talk to Dr. Seth and not just his PA. He's the one who told me I have bone on bone in my shoulder and did a few exercises to determine my range of motion in that arm. Knowing I'm a teacher, he explained he has teicks up his sleeves to lessen the pain until I make a decision to replace my shoulder. Very comforting. I also remember when my 93 year old grandmother fell and shattered her elbow to dust. Dr. Seth was the only ortho willing to do surgery so she could have some mobility. I was brought in earlier because I needed xrays this lady was very good and understanding of my limitations. Ushered into an exam room by the x-ray Tech....it seemed to look like the workers work together well. Then dr Seth came and had a gameplan then stopped himself and asked what was my goal so we discussed both options and I realized his plan would give me relief. Then the physician asst came in with the Sr medical assist. They both told me what was going to be done that put me at ease with them pushing needles into both knees pulling out fluids then pushing meds to help me. Dr. Seth and the whole staff there in New Iberia are so wonderful. They have such great bed side manners, they explained everything in simple terms that you can really understand, and your health and well-being is of the utmost importance to them. I highly recommend LOP. I've been working with them for years. I had Dr. Chris Hebert scope my knees years ago and did awesome working in me. He isn't doing knees anymore but I think I was told he's doing ankles and feet now. It doesn't matter what is hurting you, they have the right doctor for you with an excellent staff of great people who really make a difference. They drained fluid from both my knees yesterday and injected them also (4/9/24) and I'm feeling about 95% better this morning (4/10/24). I love the way everyone was so professional and caring! They all made me feel like they knew me and it wan't my first time visit. Dr. Rosenzweig, the Nurse Practiioner, and the Nurse (forgive me I'm bad with remembering names) took the time and explained what was going on with my knee and what was my options.
