Dr. Johnson grew up in Baytown, TX as the oldest of 3 children. He completed Medical School at Baylor College of Medicine followed by residency and Geriatric fellowship at The University of Iowa. He is on staff at Mission Regional Medical Center, where he served on the Medical Board and the Pharmacy and Therapeutic Board. He served on the board for Fellowship of Christian Athletes leading quality, value-based care across the nation. He is the medical director at Legacy Hospice. He enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
