Taylor takes a humanistic, person-centered, and holistic approach to therapy. Grounded in a strengths-based perspective, she believes each person brings unique strengths and experiences to the therapeutic process. Her goal is to build a collaborative relationship rooted in trust, empathy, and respect while creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are.
Taylor believes clients are the experts in their own lives. Together, she works with clients to explore how past experiences, relationships, and life chapters may be influencing where they are today, while identifying strengths and opportunities for growth moving forward.
Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with an emphasis in human services and sociology, from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She is motivated by the belief that meaningful connection can be healing and that no one should have to navigate mental health challenges alone.
