Dr. Angela Aguirre, M.D., is a medical doctor at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis, where she also gained unique clinical experience working as an EMT with the UC Davis Fire Department, responding to medical calls directly on a fire engine. Following graduation, she worked as a clinical research assistant at the UC Davis Medical Center before moving to Riverside, CA, to attend medical school at the California University of Science and Medicine.

Dr. Aguirre chose Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) for its comprehensive full-spectrum training, unopposed residency program, and strong emphasis on community medicine outreach.
Outside of her medical training, Dr. Aguirre enjoys spending quality time with friends, family, and especially her dog and cat. In her free time, she loves to run, hike, and read. She is also a proud Hufflepuff. As she navigates residency, she relies on the best piece of advice she has ever received: “Focus on what you can control and meet everything else with grace.”
