My first visit with Dr. T. John Van was outstanding. He took plenty of time with both me and my spouse, answering every question we had without ever making us feel rushed.
Dr. Van has excellent communication skills and truly lets you know that he cares about you as a person, not just as a patient. He thoroughly explained my prostate cancer diagnosis, reviewed all of my scans, treatment options and made sure we understood every aspect of my condition.
After my visit, I realized I had forgotten to ask an important question. I called his office, left a message and was amazed when Dr. Van personally called me back after 5:00 p.m. on a Friday to answer my question. That level of dedication and genuine concern for his patients is rare.
Dr. Van’s knowledge, compassion, and willingness to take time to educate and support his patients gave us confidence and peace of mind. I highly recommend Dr. Van to anyone seeking a caring and exceptional radiation oncologist.
