Very knowledgeable provider.

I think an important part of my provider’s duties is whether or not they can provide helpful guidance during times where my feelings and direction are a little uncertain. Dr. Adams has been a blessing to my current set of tools for my mental and physical health! I really like his data-driven, science based approach. I also find comfort and safety in our discussions together. Dr Adams also respects patient choices, acknowledges multiple opportunities available for patients in their health/therapy/medication management/etc.

He prescribed me medication that nearly made me kill myself. Then he stopped ketamine despite it helping me. I had to go to a different ketamine doctor.

I went to him with concerned I may have ADHD and he didn’t test me… he said people are usually diagnosed with it from ages 6-12. Funny, because I have 2 friends in their 50’s that were recently diagnosed with it and my sister is 64 and recently diagnosed with it. I was extremely disappointed that I wasn’t even tested and the questionnaire I completed beforehand was not discussed and every answer was frequently or almost always… find it hard to believe that I don’t have ADHD.

Dr Adams is great at what he does. He typically maintains a comfortable professional remove, but can be quite kind and insightful when the situation calls for it. I consider myself lucky to have him.
