After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Dr. Wendy Benton-Weil attended the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Benton-Weil has a passion for treating young athletes and for reconstructive surgery. She also has a large dance medicine practice and has been featured in Irish Dance magazine as a medical expert.

Working part-time allows for balancing her professional life with raising her three children. Outside of work, she loves to cook, is an avid reader, enjoys sports, and volunteers for many organizations, including as a mentor for Greenhouse Scholars. She has been President of the Board of the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center and President of the Board of Trustees at her children’s school. Dr. Benton-Weil was a volunteer physician for “Healing the Children,” performing reconstructive surgery on underprivileged children with severe foot deformities in Central America.
