Dr. Michael Goddard, D.P.M. joined California Foot and Ankle Institute in 2012 after ten years of private practice. He was born in Orange, CA, and at the age of 4, moved to Solvang, CA, which he refers to as his home town. Sports have been a significant role in his life and he developed an early passion for football and baseball. In high school, he played football and ran track (he is convinced the 400 meters is the greatest track event).

In college, Dr. Goddard started as an architecture major, but after his freshman year he knew his heart was in the medical field. He shifted his studies to pre-medicine and never looked back.
