He has been practicing in Cupertino, California since 2000, and was President of Cupertino Podiatry, Inc. from 2003 to 2018, up until its merger with Foot and Ankle Associates in Los Gatos, California in 2018.
Michael J. Cornelison, DPM, FACFAS, was officially sworn in as President of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) at the organization’s 2022 scientific conference in Austin, Texas. Dr. Cornelison will serve as President of the national surgical association of over 7,900 foot and ankle surgeons for the following year.
He is Past-Chief of the Department of Podiatric Medicine at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, and is Past-President of the Santa Clara Valley Podiatric Medical Society. In addition, Dr. Cornelison is a clinical faculty member of the Primary Sports Medicine Fellowship of the San Jose-O’Connor Family Medicine Residency Program.
