Dr. Jisun Julia Lee, D.P.M. received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Western University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed her residency at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Stanford Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. She then completed her fellowship at the Broadlawns Medical Center for total ankle replacement, 3D talus replacement, foot and ankle trauma, and complex deformity reconstruction, as well as managing severe diabetic infection and limb salvage.

Dr. Jisun Julia Lee, D.P.M. is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with years of training dedicated to foot and ankle pathology. She is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Lee received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Western University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree in chemistry at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Dr. Lee completed her surgical residency at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Stanford Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. During this time, she was skilled at trauma, reconstructive surgery, arthroscopy, sports medicine, and diabetic limb salvage. Then Dr. Lee completed her fellowship at the Broadlawns Medical Center for total ankle replacement, 3D talus replacement, foot and ankle trauma, and complex deformity reconstruction, as well as managing severe diabetic infection and limb salvage.
Dr. Lee specializes in complex foot and ankle conditions, including severe ankle and foot degenerative diseases, sports injuries, diabetic wound care, Charcot neuroarthropathy, various foot and ankle trauma with both conservative and surgical treatments. Dr. Lee has been involved in numerous research and has several publications. She also has a great passion for serving the community and participating in international medical missions, including the International Extremity Project to perform surgery to correct severe lower-extremity deformities to the underserved. She enjoys skiing, hiking, and painting. She also loves spending time experiencing different cultures, traveling, and trying new flavorful food.
Dr. Lee is fluent in Korean in speaking, writing, and reading.
