Dr. Kaleta completed a 1-year primary podiatric medical residency as well as a 2-year podiatric surgical residency. With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Kaleta has dual specialties in diabetic foot care and sports medicine. Staying abreast of the most innovative options, Dr. Kaleta indicates that her treatment plan focuses primarily on conservative and surgical management, EPAT, and custom orthotics.
Throughout her career, Dr. Kaleta describes her practice philosophy as starting with the patient and establishing quality communication. She believes that the patient has the most valuable information regarding their health and is imperative in early diagnosis and a critical part of a successful treatment plan. Her number one goal is to help patients get back to functioning and an active lifestyle as soon as possible, and the best way to do so is to create a good doctor-patient relationship from the beginning.
Personal experience with many foot and ankle injuries while playing sports in high school first sparked Dr. Kaleta’s interest in sports medicine. Today, she still finds herself on the soccer field with her two children and spends her leisure time as an avid runner and competitive tennis player.
