Bahar Golshahi, DPM

Dr. Bahar Golshahi, D.P.M. provides the best foot and ankle care in the Mission Viejo and Laguna Hills, California, offices of Artisan Foot and Ankle Specialists. Dr. Golshahi expertly treats arthritis, bunions, athlete’s foot, ankle sprains, gout, neuromas, Achilles tendonitis, and other foot and ankle problems.

Dr. Golshahi earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California in Irvine, California, where she double majored in biological sciences and psychology. She then completed a post-baccalaureate pre-medical program from the University of California in Berkeley, California. Dr. Golshahi earned her podiatric medicine degree at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, California.

She completed a three-year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery with an added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery through Lakewood Regional Medical Center in Lakewood, California, and Los Alamitos Medical Center in Los Alamitos, California. As chief resident in her final year of training, she excelled in the advanced techniques of foot and ankle reconstruction, biomechanics, sports medicine, and the treatment of the diabetic foot.

Dr. Golshahi is board-certified, a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, and a fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Golshahi learned the importance of treating patients with kindness, compassion, and empathy from her father, a skilled surgeon himself. As a result, she strives to provide the highest standard of patient care and enjoys her time with every patient.

In her free time, Dr. Golshahi enjoys family time with her husband and two sons. She loves beach time, walks, and hiking.
