Dr. Garbula began her medical career as an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Chicago, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she started working at Center for Podiatric Medicine as a receptionist, and that experience inspired her to become a Podiatrist herself.
She continued her education at William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, where she completed her doctorate in 2012. Following graduation, she completed a three-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Training at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where her first year of residency was spent providing care at the Oak Forest Medical Center, a part of the Cook County Hospital system. She showed her leadership skills as Chief Resident in her last year of residency. She has worked in a private practice in downtown Chicago for the past eight years but is excited to return to the suburbs.
Dr. Garbula was born in Poland. She immigrated to the United States with her family in the 90s and has been living in the suburbs of Chicago since then. She is fluent in Polish.
Dr. Garbula is very excited to join the excellent team of doctors at Weil Foot & Ankle Institute and extend her knowledge and care to all existing and new patients.
Very thorough and helpful. Kind and patient. Good people skills.
Dr. G was very kind, and she did a good job of trimming an ingrown toenail on my big toe. My toe no longer hurts me, and I am so happy to have a good podiatrist whom I can see for this type of condition.
She’s great
Dr. Anna Garbula is a doctor I would recommend to everyone. Dr. Garbula took the time to explain what is going on in detail and gave me all the best options to help me strive for a pain free foot. Thank you.
