Dr Liefeld listened to my issue and prepared for my appointment. He diagnosed my issue and gave me treatment at the office. After having dealt with this issue for over a year I finally feel confident that it has been properly diagnosed and treated thanks to Dr Liefeld.

It took Dr Liefeld 2 minutes to size up an issue that has plagued me for several months. He wasn’t interested in listening, just sending me on my way. Clearly since the imaging had nothing viewable on it some of the extreme pain I felt must have been not important. Then when I asked him about another issue that’s plagued me for months he checked out everything in 30 secs and out I went. I was just a number, very apathetic and uninterested.. thanks for the help or lack thereof, so glad I went….

This was my first time seeing Dr. Liefeld as a patient. He had performed a couple of minor surgeries on my husband and I had met him then and he was personable then. My husband and a good friend who had received a knee replacement from Dr. Liefeld both highly recommended him. I had been seeing another orthopedist for knee injections over the last few years. I decided to go to Dr. Liefeld and my experience was 180° different. Dr. Liefeld asked a lot of questions about my experience and gave an explanation of what was causing my pain and what the options were. I had pretty well resigned to getting a replacement before I got there and we agreed on a schedule. I received my injections and a brief outline of the surgery procedure and recovery from the PA. The surgery scheduler then came in to schedule a date and reviewed the pre-OP requirements. Everybody was friendly, efficient and answered my questions. Hopefully, I can continue my glowing review after the actual survey!

I went ot the McCandless office as Dr. Liefeld was going to be out of the office for the next week or so. I saw the PA there and he was excellent. Gave me my shots in the back and hip.

Dr. Liefeld replaced both of my knees , my left last July, and my right in January and I’m totally satisfied with the job he has done and I’m coming along good. I recommend him to anyone!

Spent less than 5 minutes with me for an injury and had his hand on the doorknob for more than half the time. This is not good patient care or service. Awful experience.

The only complaint I have with the surgeon is that the only time I talked to or saw him was when we were scheduling my surgery and never in the hospital or on my post op appointment. Saw staff members such as medical assistant and physician’s assistant. So far I have done well with the surgery. I know he is a very good and thorough surgeon but would have liked to seen him at some point. Thank you Dr. Liefeld.

Can always depend on Dr. Liefeld to tell us what is wrong in a way we can understand. His professionalism and skill as a surgeon are excellent and we depend on him to keep us as best as we can be.

I really do not appreciate being talked over. When I tried to ask about a different medication he told me I " was lucky to get what they gave me" when I told him they didnt work. I asked about getting my hip looked at by the nurse and no one said a single word about that and there is a clear lack of communication between staff as he didnt know I was x rated for my right knee already when he suggested I might have the same issue on the other knee. I really do not appreciate being bullied.

Dr. Liefeld has been my doctor for over 20 years. He has performed right and left hip replacement, total left knee replacement, and recently surgery because of a fractured femur. I have never had a problem and he has always promised me that he will do what is best for me. He has done that and I would highly recommend Dr. Liefeld.
