This was my initial visit with Doctor Emond. He took the time to listen to my history, answer all my questions, and helped to develop a treatment plan that was personal to me.

He is a terrific Doctor . Felt my appointment for follow up from cortisone shot a bit unnecessary. If knee was hurting I would have called office. I received a text message about my appointment on the 21st at 9:07 pm. That happened to be a Sunday. Would have preferred a text on Thursday or Friday prior to Monday appointment. I may have canceled at that time but considering the time frame I had to work with felt obligated to show up for my appointment. I was correct in my assessment as I think the Doctor asked me to flex my knee which I did with ease and asked me how knee was feeling. I said fine and our meeting was over at that time.

After suffering a serious fall fracturing my elbo and humorous Aug 2021 Dr Emond performed reconstructive surgery on my elbo, then did reverse surgeries on both shoulders. After these 3 surgeries and 16 months of therapy. I have nearly full arm function and after the fall and 35 yrs of excruciating shoulder pain. I am pain free. No question in my mind that he is tops in his field. I had a cortisone shot elsewhere, and it was obvious the individual giving it was definitely unskilled and seemed to be painfully fishing around my knee for the correct location where the cortisone should go. Dr Emond exudes just what a physician should be, kind and concerned for his patient, but .most importantly skilled and knowledgeable in his profession.

I love this guy. He is personable and professional. He is quick but takes the time to make sure you feel your issue is addressed. The office staff, nurses and PAs are all incredible. I have see him in North Hills, 7 Fields and Fox Chapel all staff is equally impressive.
