She received a bachelor’s degrees in business administration and athletic training from Lees-McRae College in 2012. She then completed her Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California University of Pennsylvania in 2014 and subsequently obtained her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN in 2022. Prior to beginning her career as a Physician Assistant, she was an athletic trainer working with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes.
