Wow! Our first visit felt like we’d been seeing your group for years. We felt heard and Valerie made us feel very comfortable. She had advice and answered questions in simple terms. She was very thorough in examining my ears for wax maintenance. I didn’t have wax issues so no maintenance was needed. But she gave us the option and we agreed if there was no wax to extract then leave things alone. She offered some additional examinations for future appointments. We will contact our insurance to see if the exams are covered. Valerie thank you so much for your consideration.

Valerie Edwards is awesome. Took my Mom (age 92) in for ear wax removal. Valerie was very compassionate and extremely good at what she does. Mom was so happy with her visit. I’d recommend PA Edward’s to anyone.

Valerie earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Before joining the Ear Institute of Texas, Valerie provided comprehensive care in multiple specialties, including urgent care and allergy and sinus medicine. Her background includes performing advanced diagnostic procedures, managing acute and chronic conditions, and assisting in surgical settings. She is known for her ability to build meaningful connections with patients and empower them to understand their health and treatment options.
Valerie is an active member of professional organizations, including the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Association of PAs in Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Outside of medicine, Valerie enjoys spending time with family, staying active outdoors, and saltwater fishing.
