Valerie earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Before joining the Ear Institute of Texas, Valerie provided comprehensive care in multiple specialties, including urgent care and allergy and sinus medicine. Her background includes performing advanced diagnostic procedures, managing acute and chronic conditions, and assisting in surgical settings. She is known for her ability to build meaningful connections with patients and empower them to understand their health and treatment options.
Valerie is an active member of professional organizations, including the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Association of PAs in Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Outside of medicine, Valerie enjoys spending time with family, staying active outdoors, and saltwater fishing. She is proficient in Spanish and passionate about providing accessible, high-quality care to every patient she meets.
