Valeria Felix, PA-C, serves patients as a compassionate, advanced practice clinician focusing on improving community health through patient-focused care. She has a background as an EMT in Chicago and an E.R. Tech at Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC), driven by a genuine desire to impact the lives of her patients positively. Raised locally in Guadalupe, she saw firsthand how language and cultural barriers affect access to quality healthcare. Her commitment to healthcare for all and whole-body well-being led her to choose a career in a community health center, aligning with her passion for serving the underserved in her community.
As a first-generation college student, Valeria earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCLA. While earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University, Valeria completed clinical rotations in various specialties through CHC and MRMC. Her commitment to continuous learning means she can give well-informed advice to patients, leading to positive results. Having been a patient at CHCs since she was young, her upbringing and experiences have made her a committed and supportive caregiver.
Beyond healthcare, Valeria enjoys hiking, time with her family, practicing martial arts class and training her German Shepards: “Zeke” and “Kovu.” She dedicates her medical journey to her late abuelito, Don Jesus Saucedo, and her mother, Martha, for being the best example of how to give back to the community that raised her.
