Travis is awesome. I had rotator cuff and bicep repair in December. Last Monday I re-injured my shoulder. I do have to have surgery again. Travis was very thorough with explaining about the MRI and great detail on the 2 different procedures that are going to have to be done, depending on the MRI results.

Travis patiently answered all of our questions in both medical and n0n-medical terms. We never felt rushed and/or unimportant.

Although he originally set out to be an engineer, Travis quickly realized his passion for patient care through his close collaborations with healthcare professionals as a student. He decided to further his training in the field, earning a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University.
A Pennsylvania native, Travis moved to western North Carolina from Orlando, where he worked in a high-volume, high-demand trauma practice. While there, he gained considerable experience providing patient care in the ER, OR, in-office, and inpatient settings.
Travis brings with him a unique set of skills and experience to Carolina Hand and Sports Medicine. He is thoroughly trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound, and also performs a high volume of upper extremity imaging studies, which allow patients to see their injuries in real-time, projected onto a screen.
In his free time, Travis enjoys fly fishing, hunting, hiking, backpacking, traveling, skiing, and food.
