As a student, he had the opportunity to collaborate with a healthcare team focused on addressing challenges posed in the emergency medicine setting. Although he originally set out to be an engineer, Travis quickly realized his passion for patient care through his close collaborations with healthcare professionals as a student. He decided to further his training in the field, earning a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University.
A Pennsylvania native, Travis moved to western North Carolina from Orlando, where he worked in a high-volume, high-demand trauma practice. While there, he gained considerable experience providing patient care in the ER, OR, in-office, and inpatient settings.
Travis brings with him a unique set of skills and experience to Carolina Hand and Sports Medicine. He is thoroughly trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound, and also performs a high volume of upper extremity imaging studies, which allow patients to see their injuries in real-time, projected onto a screen.
In his free time, Travis enjoys fly fishing, hunting, hiking, backpacking, traveling, skiing, and food.
