I tried to explain to him that my son was autistic so he may not answer questions concerning pain and he was very passive when I said this and told me to "give him a minute" Also he was only in the room for 3 minutes tops and didn't fully explain what happened with my sons ankle. No bed side manner at all.

Quick discussion, no real examination, did not seem interested in looking into root cause of the injury - just referred me over to a specialist who isn't available until the end of October. Waste of a visit truthfully.

I have been treated in the past and he remembered me. That added to my comfort at the appointment and aided in me understanding my treatment plan.

Very short, focused exam and visit. Did not really make time for questions in the room but did respond quickly when brought up right before check out. End of the day, came up with a sound plan for me, which is really all a patient can ask for.

Not great at explaining “supposed” condition. Felt Tom really was caught off guard but did not want to admit he was not sure or really didn’t know about the complaint I was experiencing! All in all we feel as if we somewhat wasted our time coming to the OIP Outpatient Clinic…no one mentioned that the clinic is not staffed by an Orthopedic MD / DO / DC….but rather PA’s. We feel with all the indecision it would have prudent to get an Orthopediist opinion. Disappointed to say the least!
