Tanya Allmaras, PA-C, grew up in North Dakota and Idaho, where she studied Biology at Boise State and then went on to become a Physician Assistant through Idaho State University. During her time at school, Tanya also studied trumpet performance and played basketball.
Tanya has worked as a PA in family practice and urgent care since 2011 and joined Primary Health in 2017. She has professional interests in preventive care for all ages, women’s health, care of older adults, sexual health, and mental health care. She believes in empowering individuals to create positive, sustainable, healthy lifestyle changes, and encourages her patients to play an active role in their health decisions.
In her free time, Tanya enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her pup exploring the Gem State. Some of her favorite activities include hiking, biking, surfing, climbing, backpacking, yoga, farming, gardening, music, and outdoor cooking.
