Siara Blackburn, MPAP, PA-C, served in many leadership roles, including as a student-athlete representative and liaison between the women’s soccer team and the coaching staff, as well as with Big South Conference officials.
After graduation, she began working at EmergeOrtho in Wilmington as a physical therapy tech and clinic safety officer. Her experience instructing patients alongside physical therapists and physical therapist assistants inspired her to return to Campbell University to pursue her Master of Physician Assistant Practice degree.
Upon completion of PA school in March of 2026, Siara joined EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region’s interventional pain management team under the supervision of Lawrence Montalto, D.O.
Excellent, thorough and knowledgeable physician assistant who understands the issues with my back. She has provided a treatment program that has resulted in relief in the lower back area.
Siara is always pleasant and possesses a concern for you needs. She is a great asset for Emerge.

Doc Siara really seemed to care about my pain and how to treat it better. She took the extra time to listen to me and talked with me on steps to further improve my pain through next step injections and possibly talking with surgical team to elevate my back pain.
I really like her. And she shows that she cares. I have been with Jill & EmergOrtho for 14 years and I hope to be with Siara and EmergOrtho the next 14 years
Went there for severe knee pain..she was unable to have viable answers herself. Instead she had to leave the room to answer my questions.not that experienced still had to call later in day with a plan. I guess u have to start somewhere..Not with me though
Listens well and acts upon what she says she will .
She is concerned about my issue with my neck she explained very well the procedure requested to be preformed and wanted to know if I had any questions and I did which she answered
