My last three experiences are not all due to the actions of the physician. On all occasions I arrived on time, only to wait an hour past my scheduled time to see the doctor. Due to the time constraints my appointment was rushed. I was not heard. My concerns weren't addressed. On my last appointment I wanted to discuss a med reduction. Before I could complete my sentence, I was told that I couldn't receive a more potent pain med. I was upset, and felt stereotyped. I wanted to step down from the narcotics I had been taken for a year, to something less. As a substance abuse paraprofessional, I was appalled by the immediate reaction of stereotyping me as an abuser. Then to be told that I would no longer be seen by Shawn. Although, my shoulder remains painful with reduced range of motion, I will consider seeking help from another office. I have encountered a change of physicians, delayed appointments, scheduling mishaps, confused diagnosis and treatment options.

He was very patient and sympathetic.
Seems like a physician from days of old bc the ones today don’t seem to have any compassion. In and out as if you’re just a number . I would recommend Shawn Hopkins to anyone.
