Following PA school, Shannen followed her passion for orthopedics to Fairbanks, Alaska, where she spent the last four years working as a physician assistant in orthopedics and sports medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and paddleboarding with her golden retriever, Kevin, as well as playing tennis, pickleball, hockey, and snowboarding.
