Shannen McNamara,PA-C

Shannen was born and raised in the Vail Valley and graduated from Battle Mountain High School. A passionate tennis player, she attended Colorado Mesa University as a student-athlete, earning her Bachelor of Science. She then pursued her medical education at Barry University in Miami, Florida, after gaining valuable experience as an orthopedic research assistant for several years.

Following PA school, Shannen followed her passion for orthopedics to Fairbanks, Alaska, where she spent the last four years working as a physician assistant in orthopedics and sports medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and paddleboarding with her golden retriever, Kevin, as well as playing tennis, pickleball, hockey, and snowboarding.
