My 4 year old broke 2 bones in his arm. After spending ding a full day calling places and not finding any appointments k saw a rec for fox valley orthopedics. When I called they got him in the next day. SCOTT McKay was fabulous calming my son and helping him feel safe and secure. We had to recast after taking xrays and it was a long process. Scott not only helped explain things to my son but he helped him feel calm, was gentle during his tears, and made him walk out with a smile.

Scott completed a very comprehensive physical assessment rather than rely on imaging. His assessment skills were clearly based on extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of musculoskeletal conditions. Scott was respectful of the impact of age and deconditioning without judgement of lifestyle. His approach was very positive and supportive. He addressed all treatment options and differential diagnoses with solid evidence-based information. Scott offered resources outside of Fox Valley Orthopedics for physical therapy (if needed due to scheduling) which confirmed that he is committed to patient care rather than generating revenue.
