Sarah L. Bone, PA-C

Sarah Bone, PA-C graduated from Albion College in 2001 with honors, earning dual degrees in Chemistry and Exercise Science. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Western Michigan University in 2004. She began her career in Michigan, working in general orthopaedics with a solo orthopaedic surgeon before relocating to North Carolina in 2016. Sarah holds a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Orthopaedics, reflecting her dedication and advanced expertise in the field.

Since joining EmergeOrtho, Sarah has served in multiple roles, including the walk-in orthopedic urgent care clinic and later working directly with Dr. Christopher Houdek, focusing on sports medicine. After gaining additional experience in the urgent care setting, she returned full time to support Dr. Houdek and Dr. Phillip Bostian in clinic. Sarah is passionate about helping patients understand the source of their pain and developing personalized plans to restore function and improve long-term quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys training for triathlons, hiking, traveling, and reading.
