Sara Briggs, PA-C

Sara Briggs, PA-C is a physician assistant who works with Dr. Martin Weisman at our Deer Valley, JCL North Mountain and Arcadia locations in Phoenix, AZ.

Sara received her B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of New Mexico, graduating with honors. She worked as an athletic trainer for the ESPN X Games until going back to school to earn her M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University right here in Mesa, Ariz.

Since then, Sara has gained experience at several hospitals and clinics throughout the valley. She has a range of orthopedic experience in a variety of settings, from working at multiple level 1 adult trauma/level 2 pediatric hospitals, to intensive and acute care clinics. Sara has developed and implemented patient treatment plans, performed joint and fracture reductions, provided post-operative care (wound care, medications, physical therapy and bracing, casting and splinting) and served as a surgical first assist. Aside from her work with OrthoArizona, Sara is also the founder of Iron Woman Assist where she provides surgical first assist services to multiple subspecialties, including general surgery, orthopedics and plastic surgery.
