Ryan is pleasant and friendly taking time to listen, answer, and explain. He was the person who introduced me to OI way back in 2010, so he should get a bonus for all my surgeries and family referrals.

Ryian is the best. He always listens, check things out, and talks about options. He reassure his patient when they need it and make sure that they are not in pain.

Optional comment? Like I'm going to say anything negative? I do like his straight forward approach and patience answering questions that he's heard a thousand times. AND he gave me an alternative to a compression sock issue. Not the color I would have picked, but the result was great.

He chose to practice at Orthopedic Institute because he wanted to participate in an independent organization delivering exceptional care. Ryan continues to work with Dr. Peterson at OI, following eleven years together at CORE Orthopedics. They provide general orthopedics and specialty services in arthroscopic surgery and total joint replacement of the shoulder, knee, and hip. He gets great pleasure from getting to know patients and seeing a smile on their faces, knowing that they are leaving feeling better.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, loves fishing, watching the Vikings and Gophers, and golfing. He is a clinical professor at USD and finds teaching rewarding.
