Ryan was excellent with my 13 year old son. He explained what he was checking on his ankle and the X-ray and the next steps. Plus he made my son laugh even though he was devastated because he will be missing soccer for a few weeks! Very thorough and knowledgeable.

Informative and quick! I was in a good amount of pain in my right shoulder due to a repetitive stress injury. X-rays were taken within ten minutes of me walking in the building and I got a cortisone shot ten minutes after that. 24 hours later I can actually move with nearly no discomfort. He said the relief may take up to a week but I’m thrilled with the progress already. Thanks Ryan!

Only challenge was when he first came into the room, he said that my daughter would be playing again before the end of the season. But then later said she’d be in a boot for 3 weeks, which brings us past the end of the season. It was hard to start with her being hopeful and then realizing - not so much. Can’t toy with a 15 year old’s emotions like that! Other than that, great appointment.

Explained everything, answered all my questions, great personality/bed side manner. Made me want to recommend him and the practice to others. The nurse that worked with him was outstanding. She made sure the boot for my ankle fit perfectly. She even went and grabbed a different size. She was amazing. she was also pleasant and upbeat. The face of your practice. Honestly track down who she was and give her a large raise. She makes or breaks your practice.

Misdiagnosed my injury,, should have done another set of X-rays as missed a fibula fracture and told me I could walk on foot,, not need a boot ,, and ended up in ER who took another X-ray and clear fracture and now in boot and crutches,, very upset regarding his mishandling of my pain and condition,, he felt merely a continuance of my v Nerve pain,,,

Visit was pretty cut-and-dried. He told me what I was expecting to hear.

Dr. Cuerdon was knowledgeable, empathetic and patient. He just seemed to love his job and wanted the best outcome possible

Ryan explained what was going on with my knee and ankle showing me the x-rays and giving me a printout of exercises to do to strengthen the areas. No cortisone shots or surgery is needed at this time. I liked Ryan and would see him again if needed.

He reviewed my daughters X-rays from out of state and referred us to Children’s Hospital because he said they don’t have the upper arm specialist for pediatrics at Excel. It was frustrating but not his fault and $60 copay to be seen for 5-10 minutes maximum

When I arrived, the nursing staff informed me that I should have brought my MRI on a disc and that they needed to do another X-ray for the physicians assistant to examine. I told them that I already had an X-ray and an MRI and that I had sent the analysis from my MD to their email. The nurse claimed she could not find

Very nice but little offer for intervention or follow up plan besides referral to PT. It’s difficult to deal with a flare of a chronic issue. I was hoping for someone to be willing to help short & long term. Had to ask/ push for anti inflammatory to get out of pain crisis.

Ryan gets it. As an athlete he understands the demands we put on our bodies. He offers practical solutions and clear instructions. He saw me though a stress fracture and now some random foot pain. As a runner I will definitely go back to Ryan.

I came in with a torn left meniscus and possible MCL tear. I felt Ryan was not really listening to me in the essence of my overall pain and discomfort level. I was not given any advice on what I can do or take to help alleviate this persistent, radiating pain in my knee that exists 24/7. He just offered a brace and said he would talk to me after MRI. I can’t get an MRI for another 10 days so I am left in pain with no relief.

Visit felt very rushed. Got a diagnosis and told that we were being sent to another ortho in Boston for treatment. He did a hurried exam and barely answered questions and I could tell he was in a rush. He was pleasant, but wish he spent a little more time answering questions and had a little empathy for someone getting a diagnosis that is not great. I understand he would no longer be treating us, but he spent about 5 min in all with us. That was because I prompted questions and asked him to pull up the X-ray.
